Robert E. Couhig, III graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in 2000. After working on several political campaigns in both Louisiana and around the country he attended LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he received his Juris Doctorate / Bachelor of Civil Law in 2005.

Mr. Couhig is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Couhig is a member of the Louisiana Bar, the Federal Bar Association and a founding board member of the Louisiana Leadership Initiative.
