William A. Barousse
William is a litigator who has been trying cases for over a dozen years. Before joining the firm in 2020, William was a partner for seven years in a well-respected regional insurance defense firm and served as lead counsel in trials representing transportation companies, landfill operators, restaurants, chemical manufacturers, and insurers. William also has significant experience in class action, mass tort, environmental, products liability, and insurance coverage matters. During his career William has acquired significant experience in every aspect of the litigation process through appeal and is well-equipped to advise and represent individuals or companies as plaintiffs or defendants. William has also represented multiple indigent clients pro bono in criminal proceedings.
William graduated cum laude from Tulane University with a degree in political science in 2002 and received his law degree from the LSU Law Center in 2005 where he was a member of the Law Review and served as president of the Student Bar Association. William previously served as a board member of the Louisiana Leadership Initiative and the Lake Vista Property Owner’s Association and currently coordinates the volunteer efforts of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with the Lantern Light Ministry which provides meals to those in need in the New Orleans community.
William is a member of the Louisiana and Texas bars and is admitted in all federal courts in Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
