Jeff Pastorek joined Couhig Partners in 2015. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2010. While in law school, he externed for Chief Justice Catherine Kimball of the Louisiana Supreme Court and won Tulane's 2010 Bell, Ryniker & Letourneau admiralty writing competition. Mr. Pastorek is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association. Mr. Pastorek's practice has been primarily focused on Construction Law, Admiralty/Maritime Law, and Education Law. Mr. Pastorek was selected to the Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars List for 2015 through 2020. He co-authored, "Analysis of Alexander v.
