Jonathan P. Lemann is a life long New Orleanian who received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University, and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School both with honors. Jonathan was a member of the Loyola Law Review and saw his comment, "Big Brother and Gambling Company: The Federal Regulation of Louisiana's Gaming Industry Under the Mail Fraud Statute" published in the Winter edition of 1999. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1999 and the Texas Bar in 2006.
Jonathan is a general litigator with a focus on commercial disputes. He has practiced extensively in the commercial litigation area. He has experience representing parties in cases involving breach of contract, directors' and officers' liability, fiduciary duty, insurance coverage issues, intellectual property, business torts, partner, membership and shareholder disputes, employer liability and employment discrimination claims, construction claims, complex commercial class actions, corporate and partnership law, creditor's rights, and professional malpractice. He is experienced in trying cases in both federal and state court and has appeared in many arbitrations. Jonathan also serves as the firm’s ethics and professional responsibility counsel. |
